My project idea is to make an orange sitting on a stool with a light shining on it. I will use texture mapping with two triangles for the wood. I will using normal mapping to make the orange. The orange will cast a shadow with three-point lightning. The images above is a general idea of what I am striving for in regards of the orange and the stool.

Regular floor texture and normal mapping test.
Double triangle texture. Gave up a little on normal mapping.
