The physics major program at california does not have specific goals listed for the students. However some of the goals made clear from being in the classes are having the ability to solve problems with a lack of information, being proficient in mathmatical methods to approach problems, and for advanced study and professional work within physics.

    CHEM 1000 - Foundations of Chemistry

    This introductory class to chemistry begins with the different type of chemical reactions and devolopes towards why molecules are shaped due to their electron configurations and other advanced concepts.

  • Spring 2017

    CHEM 1001 - Foundations of Chemistry Lab

    The Foundations of Chemistry Lab expounds on the CHEM 1000 course with various expirements demonstrating the phenomena learned in the previous class.

    Calculus 1 is the differential mathematics course, taken in high school.

  • Winter 2016 (Quarter)

    Caluculus 2 is the integral mathematics course that expounds on the previous calculus 1 course.

    MATH 203 - Calculus 3

    This is the vector calculus course that utilizes everything from the previous calculus courses. Both previous courses are extremely important, especially in the physics field. However this course allows a student to understand physics at a new in depth level.
