5th Annual Campus Ethics Bowl Features 7 Teams
The 5th Annual Campus Ethics Bowl was held on March 14th at the CSUB Student Union and featured competition between 7 teams of CSUB undergraduate students, considering, discussing, and debating pressing ethical issues in our society, ranging from legalization of drugs to free speech on college campuses. The competition is organized through partnership between the Kegley Institute of Ethics and CSUB Campus Programming.
Over 100 campus and community members attended the event.
The Ethics Bowl rounds were judged and moderated by a team of faculty volunteers, organized by Dr. Nate Olson (KIE Associate Director). After several rounds of competition, the winning team was ASI (Articulate Speakers, Inc.), featuring Taylor Jackson, Krystal Raynes, Aaron Wan, and Mohammed Cook. The runners-up team was BBO (Campus Programming), featuring Airica Carmon, Eric Hinton, Jon Palafox, and Jazmine Ramey.
